This dresser was glossed white so the entire object was first stripped back to the bare wood before the frame was painted with several coats of a diluted woodwash. This was then burnished with wire wool. The drawers were painted with a combination of emulsions and acrylic paints. The balloon on the mirror was painted with the sole purpose of hiding a scratch in the glass.
